Kathy Hart Wood is creator of NOWiCan Golf instructional program. NOWiCan Golf is an online teaching program for women designed with the intent to make golf instruction more accessible and the game easier to learn. Kathy is also an LPGA Class A member and instructor at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club, Kathy’s insightful and top-notch teaching skills have made her a celebrated teacher.

Kathy has an extensive golf background both as a competitor and instructor. After a successful junior and collegiate golf career, Kathy traveled the world competing on European, Korean, Australian and South African tours.

As an instructor, Kathy taught in the Nicklaus/Flick Golf Schools and the Golf for Women Magazine Golf Schools. She was a contributing editor for Golf for Women Magazine for several years and has published many instructional articles in newspapers and magazines. In addition, Kathy has been featured on the cover of Women & Golf Magazine, Golf for Women Magazine, Colorado Avid Golfer, New Jersey Golf Magazine and Player Magazine.

Since 1996 Kathy has consistently been voted one of Golf for Women Magazine’s top 50 Instructors. In 2010, Golf Digest honored Kathy as one of the top 100 Women teachers in the Country.

Before going to Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club, Kathy was the Director of Women’s Golf at Hamilton Farm Golf Club in Gladstone, New Jersey and Cornerstone Golf Club near Telluride, Colorado.

Originally from Buffalo, New York, Kathy graduated from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina with a degree in Economics.

She comes from a talented golf family. Her father is a highly regarded Club Professional, her brother is a PGA Tour player and her husband, Mark, is a well-respected Golf Instructor. Kathy resides in Tewksbury, New Jersey and has three teenage daughters.
